Privacy Policy
App: Insulti Italiani · Last updated: June 12, 2026
This policy explains how the mobile application Insulti Italiani (the "App") handles user information. The App is developed and distributed by BinaryBears LLC ("we", "us").
1. Summary
Insulti Italiani is an offline-first app. It does not require an account, registration or login, and we do not collect directly identifying personal information such as name, email address, phone number or precise location. Third-party processing is limited to advertising, aggregated usage analytics and automatic crash diagnostics.
2. Data stored on your device
The App stores a few preferences locally on your device:
- whether Vulgar mode is enabled;
- voice reading preferences;
- selected interface language;
- whether the introductory tutorial has already been seen.
These preferences do not leave your device and are removed when you uninstall the App.
3. Voice reading
The "Listen" feature uses the operating system text-to-speech engine. The text is processed on the device and is not sent to our servers.
4. Advertising
The App is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To show ads and measure performance, Google and its partners may process device identifiers, such as the advertising ID, and technical data. Ads may be personalized where allowed.
In the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the App uses Google User Messaging Platform to request consent before personalized ads. You can review or change your choice from the App under Settings → Manage privacy consent. Until valid consent is available, the App does not request ads from Google.
5. Analytics and crash reports
The App uses Firebase Analytics for aggregated usage statistics and Firebase Crashlytics for automatic crash reports. Analytics events include app opens, screen views and interactions such as generating, sharing or listening to an entry. Crashlytics may send stack traces, device model, operating system version and app version. These services help us understand usage and fix bugs.
Firebase Analytics is disabled in internal development builds. Crashlytics is active only in production release builds. More information: Firebase privacy and security.
6. Children
The App contains strong and offensive language and is intended for mature audiences according to app store age ratings. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Third parties
The only third-party provider that processes data in relation to the App is Google, through Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. We do not sell personal data.
8. Your rights
Because we do not run accounts or store directly identifiable user records on our servers, we generally do not hold personal information that can be accessed, corrected or deleted on request. You can reset or limit the advertising ID from your device settings, and you can contact us for any privacy question.
9. Security
The App does not maintain user accounts or personal data databases on our servers. Local preferences are protected by the device operating system.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its update date.
